Gideon's Crossing
ABC Television: Wednesday @ 10pm
A new television series called Gideon's Crossing based on The Measure of Our Days and Second Opinions will begin on ABC this autumn. This medical drama stars Andre Braugher from Homicide as Dr. Ben Gideon, the director of experimental medicine at Metropolitan General Hospital in Boston. The creator of this series is Paul Attanasio, who is the screenwriter for the Homicide television series, and for the feature films Quiz Show and Donnie Brasco. The series draws on the true life stories of Dr. Groopman's patients, and the themes of his books.
